INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 kgbeef sirloin, sliced tapa-style
- 1 pclarge onion, sliced into rings
- 1 1/2 to 2 tbspsoy sauce
- 1 tbspcalamansi juice
- 1 can (234 g) DEL MONTE Pineapple Tidbits, drained (reserve syrup)
MARINADE
- 8 clovesgarlic, crushed
- 1 1/2 to 2 tbspsoy sauce
- 1/2 tbspcalamansi juice
- 1/8 tsppepper
- 1 cuppineapple syrup
PROCEDURE
- MARINATE beef for 1 hour. Drain and reserve marinade. Fry in 1/4 cup oil until light brown. Set aside. Retain 2 tbsp oil in pan.
- FRY beef in ¼ cup oil until light brown. Set aside. Retain 2 tbsp oil in pan.
- IN the same pan, sauté onion until almost tender. Add marinade. Simmer for 2 minutes. Add fried beef and DEL MONTE Pineapple Tidbits. Simmer once.
