Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 c water
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 c brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 small red onion, minced
- 1 siling labuyo, minced
Procedure:
- In a sauce pan, dissolve cornstarch and brown sugar in water.
- Add the soy sauce, red onion, and siling labuyo.
- Omit siling labuyo if you prefer your sauce not to be spicy.
- Put pan on the stove and bring to a boil, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.
- Reduce heat. Simmer until sauce thickens.
