Fishball Sauce


Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 c water
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 c brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 small red onion, minced
  • 1 siling labuyo, minced

Procedure:
  1. In a sauce pan, dissolve cornstarch and brown sugar in water.
  2. Add the soy sauce, red onion, and siling labuyo.
  3. Omit siling labuyo if you prefer your sauce not to be spicy.
  4. Put pan on the stove and bring to a boil, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.
  5. Reduce heat. Simmer until sauce thickens.
